About Us.....

Airstone Designer Masonry is a company based in Hamilton, New Zealand. Bruce and Toni Sutton are the Directors of the company and work along with 9 other Team members. Bruce and Toni are both active with-in the company on a daily basis and bring to the company skills and experience from two decades of involvement in the construction industry. Airstone Designer Masonry has been established since 1997.

Who should I speak with at Airstone Designer Masonry if I need a specific question answered?

If your question includes design specifications, building systems or specific data on Airstone performance, then you should be speaking to Toni Sutton. Being a builder’s daughter Toni has a ‘Hands On’ approach to building system development. She also has the rare ability to conceptualise plans in her head and engineer simple ways to overcome construction obstacles.

For information about coatings contact Bruce Sutton. Bruce has twenty years experience in the practical application of highly decorative and highly durable coatings. He has coated many large commercial buildings throughout the upper half of the North Island. As well as training plasterers, texturers and painters for Dulux AcraTex, Bruce designed the actual Dulux AcraTex system that is used on masonry substrates in New Zealand.

Tom Gerrard - Foreman: Tom, a Builder by trade has recently joined the team. Tom oversee's the daily allocation of workload as well as working on site. He brings to Airstone Designer Masonry great skills and the ability to think outside of the square.

Neville King - Leading Hand: Neville, along with other members of the team completes the installation of our many projects. Neville also carves, creating some great individual pieces.

David Shewan - General Hand: David works mostly in our factory and keeps it in great running order. He cuts our profiles, apply coatings, creates our furniture as well as finishing touches on our artwork. You may also meet David out on site on some occasions.

Jeremy Durham - General Hand: Jeremy works on site with construction as well as in the factory. He also works along side our plasterer when required.

David North - General Hand: David works with us Part-time and creates some great pieces of sculpture art along with general factory work.

Paul Stratton - Plasterer: Paul has extensive experience and knowledge with plaster and paint finishes. Paul along with Bruce completes the coatings on our projects.

Bronwyn Mulgrew - Sculptor: Bronwyn works with us on a piece by piece arrangement. Her passion is creative sculpture and design.

Eve Martin - Sales Representative & Administration: Part of Eve's position with Airstone requires her to travel around the central north island visiting Architects, Landscape Architects and builders. We have stores in the Waikato, Coromandel and BOP who stock our Artwork. Eve visits these stores, approaches new stores and gets our name out there.
